Kapuche lake is one of the rising location in Nepal. Kapuche lake is located in the Kaski district at an elevation of 2546m from the sea level in the Annapurna Region. It is the best trek if you are looking for a short trek or camping trek. It is one of the isolated and less crowded treks, and the starting point of this trek is from Pokhara, and the ending point of this lake is Pokhara. The main entry of Kapuche lake is Sikles, and it takes 2-3 hours to reach the destination by jeep.
Trekking is recently discovered and open to all visitors; this trek is gaining popularity due to its natural beauty. You will see Avalanche toward the lake from Annapurna mountain if you are lucky enough. During the trek, you will see mountains like Mt Annapurna, Lamjung Himal, Mt Manaslu and Macchhapuchhre. In addition, the trekkers enjoy boating and swimming in the corner of the lake.

Day 1: Pokhara to Sikles
Today we will drive towards Kapuche from Pokhara, which is 40KM. It will take 4 hours to reach Sikles by private jeep. During the drive, you will see beautiful villages like Chipli Gaun, Khilang and Taprang. There are many guest houses in Sikles to welcome travellers, and you enjoy the evening exploring Gurung village.
Day 2: Sikles to Huge
The next day you will see Mt Lamjung, Annapurna II and Annapurna IV in the background of the Sikles village. Today you will hike 6-7 hours from Sikles Village to Hugu Village. The trail to Hugu is narrow and steep. Overnight at Huge Village and enjoy the magnificent view of the Mountain.
Day 3: Hugu to Kapuche to Hugu
Today we will hike to Kapuche lake after a 2-3 hours hike from Huge. Once you reach there, you can enjoy the beauty of the lake, and you can see the reflection of Lamjung Himal and Annapurna in the lake.
Day 4: Hugu to Pokhara
Today we will hike to Sikles, which will take around 4 hours, and we will have our lunch and drive back to Pokhara, which takes another 3 hours drive.
